VETERINARIAN PRACTICE KLEINOSTHEIM – PRACTICE FOR SMALL PETS
The veterinarian-client contract is concluded through the order and the agreement in oral, written or electronic form or through the presentation of the animal and through the oral acceptance of the order or the start of the veterinary examination (implied action). It is based on these general terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment. This does not apply to life-threatening emergencies and cases that, in the veterinarian's opinion, could develop into a life-threatening emergency by the next working day. For operations, complex examinations and treatments, or if necessary, we make appointments on working days Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Emergencies are exempt from appointments.
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We only offer consultation hours by appointment and ask that you make an appointment verbally or by telephone.
We always have short-term appointments available for urgent cases. It is not possible to make an appointment online. If agreed appointments are not kept without prior and timely cancellation, the resulting damage can be claimed.
Home visits must be arranged in advance by telephone.
We undertake to fulfil the treatment contract in compliance with the veterinary duty of care and using scientifically indicated and generally accepted treatment methods to restore or maintain the health of the animal presented. There can be no legal claim to the success of therapeutic measures. The animal owner's right to self-determination is preserved.
The client is obliged to truthfully disclose the medical history, any previous treatments and any aggressiveness of his animal, to support the practice's diagnostic and therapeutic measures and to follow veterinary instructions.
We are entitled to employ or call upon employees, expert third parties and data processing companies to carry out the examination and treatment order. Customer data from the contractual relationship is stored for the purpose of data processing. It is subject to the Data Protection Act and veterinary confidentiality. Customer and patient data is generally not passed on to third parties. Exceptions to this are data transfers in connection with referrals to other veterinary practices or clinics, laboratory tests in external laboratories and in the event of notifiable animal diseases to the veterinary office.
The estimated costs for examination and treatment of the animal are only estimates made by the veterinarian based on the perspective available at the time of the estimate. They are therefore not legally binding.
The fees and prices for services provided in the veterinary practice are based on the current GOT (Fees Schedule for Veterinarians). The prices of prescription drugs are calculated according to the Pharmaceutical Price Ordinance (AMPreisV).
Our services are generally payable immediately in cash or by Giro EC Card. We reserve the right to require payment in advance. In exceptional cases, we will issue invoices for a fee. Invoices are due immediately and must be paid within 14 days at the latest. Payment is only guaranteed when we have access to the amount.
The medicines and goods we supply remain our property until the client has fulfilled all of his obligations to us.
We reserve the right to adjust prices in accordance with the development of the consumer price index in Germany. Our offers are generally subject to change due to possible unforeseeable circumstances in individual cases.
The exchange or return of medicines, dietary and supplementary feed is generally not possible.
The food and inpatient costs are calculated according to the currently valid GOT. After the end of the stay, these must be paid immediately, together with the treatment fees and all other expenses incurred by the practice, when the animal is picked up.
